It's not everyday that we see a tie in an international showjumping competition but that is exactly what happened when Kep Italia sponsored riders Scott Brash and Abdullah Al Sharbatly went head-to-head in a jump off.
Congratulations to both of them for their outstanding performances.
Like Scott and Abdullah we here at Equistead love Kep Italia helmets. The unparalleled flexibility offered by the interchangeable liners as well as the fact that they meet every international safety certification requirement means that our customers are getting the best of the best when they buy Kep. Our favourite feature is the adjustable air vent in the front of the helmet, which allows the rider to control the amount of air flowing through the helmet, a fantastic feature to see you through the different seasons.

Founded 12 years ago by Lin Kingsrød and retailing in 29 countries Kingsland has become one of the best known quality brands in the equestrian world. By sticking to classic designs, and by focussing on quality and fit Lin has built a brand that is much beloved worldwide. The company is still based in Norway and it is a fundamental characteristic of the brand that it is able to withstand the harshest conditions without compromising on style.
By taking their design cues from the wider fashion industry Lin and her team are constantly improving the look and fit of the garments that they design, never sacrificing functionality for style.
A lifelong rider and enthusiast herself, Lin originally started her company to meet her own needs, designing breeches, show jackets and casual to suit what she saw as an undeserved need among her rider friends. the designs are classical and the colours always clean and traditional, transitioning with ease from season to season. Kingsland produces two distinct lines, the Classic Collection in the traditional colours of red, white and blue, and the seasonal collections that help loyal customers update their look.
The last 12 years of hard work at Kingsland have paid off and it is now one of the worlds best known equestrian apparel brands sponsoring some of the best riders in international competition. All the more remarkable is that they are only now starting to target the North American market, a campaign that was kicked off with the signing of the charming Olympian Reed Kessler. We are certain that our American customers will love Kingsland as much as we do.
It was also with great excitement that Kingsland signed a sponsorship deal with the reigning queen of international dressage Charlotte Dujardin and Valero's groom Alan Davies. "Kingsland is a brand of clothing I have loved and worn for a long time now and if I was ever going to work with one brand exclusively, it really has to deliver on the yard, when training the horses and for when I'm teaching. Those who also know me know I am always cold, so I have to get the comfort, durability and the warmth from what I wear!"Charlotte Dujardin
